Chapter 9: Creating a Culturally Responsive Community for Learning
My favorite part of this chapter was on student voice. Asking your students what they want to see in their environment, what rituals they need, or even how to improve routines in our classroom will help us become more culturally responsive.
Please visit my Books page for a list of more book studies. I try to post the next installment each Monday. Sometimes my teaching schedule gets in the way. Remember, you can join the study at any time by simply commenting on the Instagram post for the chapter you are reading.
